About The T-Shirt Recall

You might have heard something about DuroSport’s latest product recall earlier today. I’m happy to report that this recall does not affect our technology in any way. While this isn’t a Pütz issue, I thought I should at least give you the inside scoop on how this all happened (I am the DuroSport insider, after all).

I no longer have anything to do with our t-shirt department. I worked there only there briefly back in ’98 (1998). I know those women who sew the shirts very well. They would not do this intentionally. They are good people, and you should not jump to conclusions about their “motives.”

The dog thing is just the way the garment industry works in Moldova. Frequently, the seamstress will need to hem the sleeves. When that happens, it helps to have someone wear the shirt briefly.

As with all DuroSport facilities, our t-shirt shop is a pet-friendly environment. If the seamstress can’t get one of her co-workers to try on the shirt, it is not uncommon for her to use a Labrador (I know, the dog in the photo is not a Labrador – he’s just a dog model). Anyway, the DuroSport dogs are generally very clean, so I would not worry too much about germs. In fact, it is quite possible that the allergic reactions have been caused by some residual flea powder left inside the shirts. It is like getting a bonus flea bath at no extra cost, courtesy of DuroSport. Let’s see if Apple can match that offer. I doubt it.

Also, a few of you have asked if there will be Pütz t-shirts. Of course, there will. Who wouldn’t want to be seen wearing the Pütz logo on their chest? I’m just not sure what impact this latest news will have on those shirts. There might be a delay while we process the returns.

Oh, about the “Made In The USA” part. Of course, our shirts are really “Made In Moldova.” I’m not sure why our marketing department doesn’t just say that instead. Anyway, that’s just some more inside information that you can only get here on the DuroSport insider blog.
